I must admit that I had some doubt about the usefulness of this product. I used it at some already familiar golf courses and I used it some Not so familiar coures. In both situations, I came to have a greater appreciation for my rangefinder. It's very accurate, more so that any other GPS or rangefinders I used in the past. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to all golfers. It's a little pricy, however.

Review by Hans for Bushnell Pro 1600 Slope Edition Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker Rating: it is very accurate and easy to use. I don't have to look for distance markers anymore, which saves time. I also found a way to measure the length of my strokes. I live in the Netherlands and after ordering I received it within one week.

It's use takes a little bit of practice, but it is far handier than pacing off from yardage markers and trying to guess at where the pin is relative to the center of the green.

I started traveling out of state and wanted something I could use without added fees. This device was perfect for my needs. It allows me to shoot distance to any object. It is easy to use. It uses a 9-volt battery that should last for a year and does not need recharging. You need to be able to see the object you are targeting but I seldom play courses with blind shots where I need distances. The slope feature gives you adjusted distances to help your confidence in club selection. This is a great device!
